Visual and sound impact while construction and operations will severely impact the quality of life

Q & A

Activity is temporary and limited. The noise derives from the rig engines within the site, the rotary equipment of the rig and from the transiting vehicles (cars and trucks). The level of noise will be monitored at the site fence and other nearby structures.
The rig site preparation will take between 6 to 7 weeks. Any disturbance generated by the construction activity will be temporary and limited. Specific conditions of the surrounding areas will be considered to further minimize the impact. Well drilling activity will take circa 5 to 6 weeks and at the end of  the drilling operations, if the well will not be successful, the site will be restored to its original conditions  in 6 to 7 weeks.
During site construction, the level of noise should not exceed 80-85db within one meter from the noise source (equivalent to the noise of a diesel truck at 15m), while during drilling it should not exceed 90db within one meter from the noise source (equivalent to the noise of a motorcycle at 8m). At rig fence it will not exceed 60-75db (equivalent to the noise of living room music, radio or TV-audio, vacuum cleaner). Suitable soundproofing panels will be installed nearby the main noise sources and all the prescriptions and legal requirements will be adopted to reduce the impact.
In the site, there will be no buildings or concrete visible constructions. The only visible structure while drilling will be the rig tower (mast), which has a visual impact similar to one electric trellis.
